well my 94gpse was running very hot like 250-260 one day go i checked the anti-freeze and my radiator was empty!! so i figured that i have a rad tube leak so i filled up with water and pressure tested it all good then when i get home it was still acting up so i checked the oil for curisioty and it looks like mud,my pcv valve is clogged with "boogers" and the whole inside of my valve cover is coated in it but the typical sign is puffs of white smoke out the exhaust and i dont see that whats wrong am i right by pinning it on the head gasket?

thanks

The issue is with the lower intake manifold gasket, that is why the oil looks like mud. You will need to change the gasket to correct the problem. This is quite common and it is a DIY job. You will want to purchase a manual to guide you. Don't drive the car until you fix the issue as the coolant in the oil will destroy the bearings.

Doing a compression test will verify it's just an intake gasket failure. If it was severly overheated, it could be a head gasket, but not likely. I know a lot of people who've been ripped off and charged for head gasket replacement, when all they needed was an intake gasket. Don't buy a cheapo OEM style plastic/rubber gasket, use the new improved design Fel-Pro steel/rubber gasket set(part # MS98004T) for your year engine. As GTP Dad stated, don't drive the car with coolant in the oil, severe engine damage can occur.
