99 cougar electrical problems

My girlfriend has a 99 cougar and recently it started to make the ding noise like the door was open when she was driving and hit a bump. Now the factory alarm is going off when the doors are locked with the remote. Any suggestions of ideas would be appreciated.

You might want to check the connection from the door trigger on the door jambs. If the switch is failing it would sense a open door. The hindges could also be loose on the door itself.
