What kind of tires should I be running on my eclipse?
I used to have toyo low profiles on there but they got old and worn. I had Proxy 4s with 210hp. Now I am looking at about 500hp. Can/should I still get nice low profile tires? or should i be looking more towards slicks or something closer to that....
Thanks

slicks for the track, some very close to slick tires for the street. They will be very expensive and wear out REALLY fast though. 500hp is VERY expensive.

:werd: Normal tires on a high HP FWD = smokeshow whether you want to or not. Another reason AWD owns all ;). I'd get these tires. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=g-Force+T%2FA+Drag+Radial Like |_eclipse_| said, you'll go through them pretty quick. I wouldnt expect more than like 8-10k out of them. I think thats what the Talon will be getting as soon as I burn up the Yoko's.

slicks are nice, but do wear out quickly. 500 is alot, but i'd love to see that in action!!!

Try riding in one. Twice the rush, especially AWD donuts on pavement.
AWD donuts on pavement = EXTREME G-FORCES
