Hi i am new to this le mans forum, and i just have a question about the japanese cars (manufacturers). I heard from somewhere that japanese cars are banned for the race? is that true? if so, what is the reason? thank you for answering my questions

To my knowledge, they aren't banned, there just aren't any there this year. Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda have all had factory entries in the last 20 years at various times.
Tha ACO (sanctioning body for the 24h of Le Mans) also has a 24h motorcycle race there, though not on the full 8-mile course, that is mostly Japanese manufacturers. I think that over the last few years, the Japanese manufacturers have been focusing on other things (F1 for Toyota and Honda, for example), and it hasn't been a high priority for them.
