The temperature gauge isn't working and because of that, when the engine really does hit 200 degrees, the fans don't come on. Now what?

We replaced the thermostat a while ago. That was almost the first thing we did. The temperature gauge is dead so we can't diagnose if the thermostat is sticking.

Sending unit for the guage is left side between 1 and 3. Most likely the green feed wire off it is baked.

maybe i didnt really catch what you're saying. your temp gauge is busted and as a result your fans arent working? i dont get that. but you should probably swap out your temp sending unit just cause..its cheap anyway.

Gauge and fans are entirely seperate circuits.
