i recently bought a 91 lx and want to make modifications on the 2.3 engine. i was thinking of a turbo and a cold air intake and turbo for it. can anyone give me advice on finding these and how to mod it for the 91 2.3??

i thought only the early and mid 80s 2.3l engines had turbos on them. i dont think they make the late 80s and early 90s 2.3l with them. how would i rig it on there?

It isn't that hard but it isn't fun.
You will need to find a place to mount it.
You will need to modify your oil lines or oil pan.
You will need to modify your headers.
You will need to modify your radiator hosing for the inner cooler.
You will need to modify your air induction.
You might need to modify your fuel management system.
You might need to install modified fuel injectors.

yeah you would have to do most of the work yourself, i only have the turbo, not a kit. the turbo is off a thunderbird T/C with the exact same engine. i would be willing to bet that if you went to a junk yard and found one that you could get the header and stuff off of it.... as far as mounting it, itll mount on the header just fine, or atleast it should.
ive done a turbo job before to so i could provide some help with it.
