The Long Awaited Video of 028!

Some of you may remember that before i left i had recorded the video of 028 with Goldberg

Well, here it is finally. You need win rar to unzip it though. Download all these files then open the first one and only unzip the file in that one. It will then combine all the files from the other ones into 1 big file

I am sure its going to be a good video, but any chance of saving it as an mpeg / wav file to make it easier to download for the masses?....

It was too big to host as one file so i had to spit it up. I know its a pain but it was the only way to do it. Sorry.

Rapidshare has really gone to crap as far as a free hosting is concerned.

I don't have any better ideas at the moment, but we will see what can be done once I DL the files and get them pieced back together.

Here is a smaller version of the video - again hosted on Rapidshare, but at least it's a single-click, single-dowload situation. There were other places I could have shared the video for viewing, but I didn't have any other options that would allow download.

I had to watermark the whole video as one of the conversion programs I used leaves behind an 'Unregistered' watermark in that corner of the video. I thought pasting over that with Chris' "E30EVO.COM" logo was better than paying the $30 to register the program. I also cropped the edges and removed the leading splash page - titles go at the front, credits go at the end. ;)

Which part isn't working? The download from RapidShare, or the file once it's finished?

That's odd, because I just DL'd it with no problems at all. :dunno:

Any other suggestions for sharing a 46MB .AVI file? I'm not sure if Chris wants it out on Google video so I will let him make that call.

Thanks! It worked fine for me. No problems downloading it at all. What part of Rapidshare isn't working for you? You don't get the pop up box to save it? Maybe try different browsers (Firefox vs IE?)?

I can't believe Goldberg got to drive it. It looked like the owner let a bunch of people drive his car, very cool, but a lot of chance for someone to throw one of them in the wall, lol.

He could have been talking about the version I made - I reduced the frame rate to 7.5fps and made some other changes to reduce the overall file size which would impact playback quality, though not to the point that it should be considered bad. At least it plays fine for me all things considered. YMMV. :)
