94 Starter issues

I have 94 K1500 with a 5.7. My starter doesn't want to turn over the engine. It just clicks once and thats it. It doesn't seem to be binding. I have checked all the connections. I replace the starter a week or two ago when the old one did the same thing. I have replaced the battery lead and the ignition switch also. Not sure what else to do??? Any Ideas would be great!!!

How is the negative battery cable? Check to see what voltage you are getting at the starter motor while you are cranking the engine over.

Thank you. Probably should have been one of the first things I checked but I think that was it all along. I replaced the negative cable and all seems to be well now. Now on to all of the other issues the truck has.:banghead:
