Locks install

Basically whats involved in changing the lock on the hatch and doors? is this a job i can do myself? This is for the Z28

im wondering the same thing, my locks are bad. all but my hatch

if it was very easy they would of put wing nuts on the outside of the door.

Earlier i went out to one of the old chevettes we have around here and figured it out
Instructions
For door:
Remove the door panel
disconnect linkages from lock
take a screwdriver and pry the clip off...you'll see the clip ...i didnt notice a difference if the window was up or down......
remove the lock from the outside of the door

same thing for the hatch...there is a plastic trim piece you need take out
