After 9 months, this one is completed. I used a Tamiya 1/12 Porsche Carrera 10 kit, converted to a spyder and enhanced with many scratchbuilt parts. I did a light weathering for a 'real' look. The blue color is a little darker than the pics as I was trying to get the yellow-orange color of the Camel yellow.

Sensational. The workmanship is out of this world and the stunning livery tops it off. The only problem is, such a big, beautifuly detailed masterpiece deserves bigger pics. :)

Imagine a shouting crowd going: "We want more, we want more!" This is exceptional. Glad that you share your work with us... So what´s next? 1/12 Martini Porsche 935 ??

Thanks for the comments and praise. It's nice get that after completing a major project. I'll take some more detail pics soon.
As far as next projects, I have a Porsche 914 racer and another Porsche related subject (keeping under wraps for now) to finish for the ACME show in November. And certainly, this model will be at the ACME show.

Amazingly clean and detailed. All the details sort of sneak up on you; kind of like the real thing. Outstanding. Let's see what you've got up your sleeve next.

It's refreshing to see the weathering; it takes an already amazing build up another notch in realism. It takes a real modeler to overcome the fear of weathering their shiny/clean "presentation" models of race cars. Think it's the first time I've ever seen media blasting done in that fashion as a weathering tool. I can't wait to see this model up close!
