W.I.P Honda City Turbo

Hi,

While I'm still building on the widebody Honda Civic, I picked a new project out of my to do stocklist.

It's a Tamiya Honda City turbo. Very old kit and no details at all but I will make it as a crazy car :D. Big wheels, big exhaust spoiler.....

Yesterday I had time to work on the City.

I cutted out the grille and the bumpergrille. Than I cleaned the foglights and make the hole in the bumper bigger. Also the holes for the sidemirrors are cleaned because I'll use some other mirrors.

I searched in my partsbox and found a nice intercooler. I made some silicon tubes on it and applied a A'pex decal on it.

On the pics the metallic doesn't show how deep it is but I'll try to make better pics this week of the colour. I really like it.

I only had a bit of a orange peel on the paint but I'll polish and wax the body this week.

These are the wheels I'll use. They're from a Revell Tuner kit and I painted the spokes in semigloss black.

These are the original seats from the City but I think they're too big and heavy :p

I wanted some smaller seats and I found them in my partbox. They come from a HKS Kansai Lexus IS200

These seats are open on the backside so I used some styreen to clean the seats. I also cutted the seats and maked them more realistic to put some steel pins in it.

I don't know what colour the interior will be. Maybe white or someting?

I would suggest a two tone interior with a purple and black or something...
The colour on the body just looks amazing

I made my choice for the interior. It will be WHITE :D

I think this looks great with the exterior colour. The dash will be shiny white and the doorpanels and the seats semigloss white. On the rear seats there will be a NOS bottle and maybe I use some CF decals or something.

- flashing light in smoke
- backlights in smoke
- mirror wipers installed
- Mugen Power decal on the doors
- Hyper Turbo decals on front and back window
- Turbo logo on the wire grille
- Manufactor and Type decal on the back
- American license plate
- installed the windows
- fuel tank painted
- exhaustsystem painted
- bigger mufflertip
- engine painted

Looking badass, but why Oregon??? That intercooler outside the body is so old school JDM... looks sweet. Could I recomend, well nothing keep up the great work.

putting the i/c outside like that makes it look huuuuuuuge. nice! :D

O Yeaaah this one is almost finished!

A new update:

The interior is completed now.

The main colour is white :D In the back I added 2 speakers and on the rearseat I installed a NOS bottle.

The floor is blue and made with interiorflocks. For the dashboard I used a shift ligth and some gauges. (don't know the exact name of it).
I also used a Fujimi steering wheel.
