Good thing we ain't driving our Rodeo's in Scotland

Just got back from a trip to Scotland. Real nice place, but the gas prices make driving a Rodeo a rich man's sport. For regular unleaded, after currency and liter conversion, it was $7.03 a gallon nearly everywhere. Seven bucks. While I was at a tourist parking area, I snuck a peek at a new generation Rodeo there. It was called a Vauxhall Rodeo. Then I saw a first generation that was called an Isuzu Frontera. Both same as ours for the most part.
I couldn't imagine having to pay $120 to fill up the tank on them. Yikes.
I did notice that the regular unleaded was at 95 octane, and that the little micro compact I rented got over 40 mpg even while driving it hard on dirt roads and mountain terrain. But still, it was $69 to fill that little tank back up.
I won't be moaning too loud about our $2.86 per gallon around here now!

that's the attitude the gas companies want us to have...

it sucks, but what can we do? really....
