hey guys,
i just got a 99 alero GLS off my buddy.....well it has a couple problems that i would like to fix....
the problems are all electrical...both of windows will not roll down...i dont think they are the motors cause it has been like that for 2 years....they stopped working at the same time....
another is the passenger side door will not unlock with the keyless entry but will work with the inside switch...
sometimes the sunroof will not open all the way..it will just vent...
and finally..lol...
sometimes the blinker will not work and ill have to hit the hazards on then off to get it work...
i have a feeling that all teh problems are related to one main problem.....im hoping that i just have to replace an electrical unit or relay or something...lol but we will see how that works...
thank you in advance

In the passenger side fuse box is the power window circuit breaker. See if it popped or try resetting it. It is located in the middle of the fuse box. The power windows are easy to troubleshoot although you may have to remove the door panel.
The remote (RKE) door lock problem could be a bad wire or connection from the body control module (BCM) to the door lock/unlock relays. The BCM controls the door locks when using the RKE so that is a possibility too.
Aleros have a defect with the hazard/flasher relay and the hazard switch.

thanks dude...i figured out the window.....the motors went.....but the regulators are good...
i think i figured out the sunroof too....its a temperture sensor of some sort...cause it only happens when its under 70 degrees...
and ill have to check out the door..its only the passenger one...but i know that all the problems will be pretty simple except for the blinker problem..but i will try the relay and see if it works.....
thanks alot
