97 Suburban Drivers Side Mirror

I have recently sustained damage to the driver’s side mirror on my 97 sub. It is cracked and I need a new one. Do I have to buy the whole housing and mirror or can I just pick the glass up somewhere and apply with adhesive. The later thought would be the most efficient and cheapest. Please advise.

Go to a local auto parts store such as Murray’s, they usually stock the glass for like 12 dollars or so. Hope this helps
