Those are supposed to turn on when I turn the car on right? Well they're not moving an inch and it's bothering me.

I think they only turn on when the car gets to hot.

I'm not sure though...

i think theyre automatic fans that turn on like at two hundred and something degrees.

That's a relief, so I can't really check them now until I've got a steady idle.

depending on the thermostat you have in they will turn on at either 160 or 190 degrees.....

190 is stock...keep an eye on your temperture guage....if it hits 200 and is rising check the fans......if you shut the car off and it is that hot the fans should still run till it gets to the right temp.....

if you have the 2 fan setup and both fans are not working you might want the check your fuse or relay....usually both of the motors will not die at the same time....

if you have 1 fan and its not working...then start with the small stuff first...check the fuse under the hood first....and the then see if the motor is done....

check after your temp gets to about 220, or its normal peak temp. my primary fan is supposed to turn on at 220, then turn off at...whatever. also, if you want to check if your a/c fan is working(normally the passanger side fan i think) you can just turn you a/c on and if its not spinning than its clear you have a problem.

Normal op. temp is 220

The stat has nothing to with what temp the fan comes on.

On a 3rd gen they come on 230-235ish and off at 210-205 +/-.
