I have a 96 LHS, the car is not stuck in limp mode ( 2nd gear )
I tried a ODBII scanner from the dealer and we where not able to communicate with the computer and it shows 55 if we turn the key 3 time.
So I started to check all the wires one by one for any broken wires and found notting..... I got my self a OBDII scanner and tried again and voila I got this error that pop out that the TCM ( Tranny computer is not reponding ) I look and oups I forgot to connect back the module, after putting back the computer I reconnect the battery and again not able to communicate with the computer again :banghead:
Looks like there is someting that is shorting the communication bus or there is someting open somewhere any idea what would cause this problem ??????

found one problem, there was a 12 volt missing in the transmission control relay pin 30, now the tranny works fine but I still have this communication problem with the ODBII scanner.
If I remove the tcm I am able to talk and get codes in the PCM.:frown:

Should have started your own thread but we are here now, first thing I would be doing is hard wiring the two plugs by the right strut tower that run down to the trans.
