help

this is probably on here a million times by now but if someone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction that would be great. i don't know how to take my shifter knob off of the stick in my 99 sunfire gt.:banghead: I pull the boot down and i see no easy way to take it off. do i just pull up or is there a clip i don't know about.
any advice will be greatly appreciated.

There should be a clip on the other side of the knob that you just pull out and then take the knob off.

Ps. There's a Search option.

thanks man, thats a big help. Now i should be able to get my shifter knob changed out. lol i guess owning a gm is tough when u work on fords for a living.
