the hole inside door pops off.
first remove 2 bolts located behind the pull handle(tork bolts)
the rest are pop pins that u just pop in place
start from the bottom corner (use both hands) and pull it away from the door in sudden pulls, work your way around the door till its all the way off
unplug the 4 or 5 connectiors that plus into the switch then push the little flap and it will pop out of the door trim
u might have to get new pop pins to put the trim back on, theres 12 in total but u might not break all of them

Dear F,
I Have Discovered The Way It Is Done By The Dealers. It Does Not
Involve Removing The Entire Door Trim Panel. ( That Would Consume Too Much Time For The Way Their Pay Time Is Established)
Ignition Must Be Off.best To Remove Fuse. Cover Lower Part Of The Nearby Area With Tape To Prevent Marring The Interior Finish. This Is Necessary As A Small Flat Bladed Screwdiver Should Be Inserted In The Lower End Of The Trim Piece. At This Point You Push In On The Screwdriver To Release Tension On Holding Tab( Work With Caution And Gently). This Will Allow Release Of The Trim Piece And Give Full Access To The Switch And The Accompanying Connector. Thanks For Your Reply.

Don't mean to hijack a thread or anything but I need to replace that same trim piece and have no idea where to find a replacement, where did you find yours or where would you recommend looking?

FISH you are correct on the removal method...a small flat screwdriver inserted at the lower end of the switch trim, gently pushing in to release the tab, at the same time lifting up on the lower end of the trim piece...there is a "hook" at the upper end of the trim that locks onto the door panel...this "hook" often breaks, and you can get this trim piece at the dealer for 12 dollars or so...just transfer the switches over to the new trim pieces...

I Was Fortunate Enough T Find The Trim Piece Of The Correct Color At A Junk Yard. The Fellow Told Me To Take It No Charge If I Could Get It Removed. I Bought Him Coffee.
