Power door locks

Hey Guys,

I've got a 2000 Sierra 1500, is there any way to program the door locks to unlock when you put the tranny in park? Mine won't unlock until I shut off the ignition and pull the key.

I believe the only options for auto unlocking are

1) Unlock when key is removed from ignition
2) Not unlock at all when key is removed

Some might have ideas that involve re-wiring to unlock the doors when put in Park, but I've never heard of anything.

The only reason I ask is that my father in-laws '02 unlocks when you put the tranny in park.
