'95 V6/V8 rear end

How do the V6/V8 T-Bird rear ends compare? I have the opportunity to buy a '95 V6 to do a 351W swap, but if i have to spend $2,000 on the rear end, it wouldn't be worth it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
