I have tried everything. Cleaned the battery terminals, removed the memory fuse under the hood. But still no gauges are not working Transmission location and mileage not displayed. And also the ABS light is on. Any help would be appreciated. Is it possible that the body control module is bad. It did this the other day and after I removed the battery cable it came back on.
Also the interior light when you open the door hasnt worked in almost a year. Also I have checked all the fuses

If by "it came back on" you mean your gauges worked then yes, the BCM could be out to lunch. Also, run a search through the threads and find the posts that talk about bad solder joints on the instrument cluster and flacky BCMs. It appears to be more common than you might think. Keep in touch.

Try going under the hood in the fuse center and pull the IOD fuse for 2 mintes then reinsert , see if that will liven up the dash , if not then you might have some questionable solder joints on the instrument cluster .

Someone posted these instructions on fixing the solder issue on the dash pc board. I don't have the forum link, sorry.

The BCM is on the back side of the Junction Block fuse and relay center left of the steering column at the bottom of the dash.

Here's something easy to try. I had dash gauges and lights going off intermittently on my 98 Caravan. It turned out to be that my wife's key had been cut from the wrong blank. The tip-off was that you could make lights come on and off by wiggling the key while the car was running. Worth a try.

The BCM is toast and you can get one from the dealer only and it has to be programed with Chrysler's factory scan tool,DRB III or a Vetronix scan tool. All that is being progamed is the vin burned in and the mailaige.

Tough to argue with experience but, I have seen people on this forum get BCMs from junkyards and various websites. Just have to make dam sure you get an exact part # match because there could be several for a given year and each will function differently in some way.

Here's a little gee wiz info: http://www.g35frenzy.com/downloads/2004/04_service_manual/K/bcs.pdf#search='Body%20control%20module'

Looks like you'll have to type it manually.

if u hold trip and reset buttons on dash display it should give a code in the dash...but im not sure if the no display in dash will make that possiable...but its a way to diag. dash cluster problems. hold for appx 10 to 12 seconds before letting go.
