Im lookin for a car to buy without too much money in my pocket. But basically my preferences are: fast, somewhat fuel efficient, and something i can be proud of. I was lookin at a z24 cavalier in the 89-94 range or a mustang in those years but idk. You guys have ne suggestions?

yea a mustang is a good chioce although its horrendous on gas also the camaro if your into those. i'd stay away from the cavalier i hear about too many people who have had problems with them and not just small problems some costly problems read up about them you'll see. theres not too many options for fast and <4000$

Lol I own a bonneville that goes 112. I consider that on the lower range of fast. heres the link for it http://www.carstereo.com/installs/photo_gallery_album.cfm?home=yes&photoid=29947&galleryid=1623

There are no problems with the Cavalier, it's one of the most reliable cars around. You could definitely get a Z24, and not a 89-94 one but a 95 or newer. You might even be able to find a 2000 or newer for that price if you are lucky adn they are pretty nice.

If you buy a Fox Body Mustang the gas isn't THAT bad (16-18) is what my friend gets in his. They can be made very fast on a small budget.

Thats what I was thinking. But does your friend get 16-18 in town or on highway? And do you think I could buy a decent wrrecked one to be fixed in the 3 to 4 area?
