I won these plug wires off of ebay and it took like 2 weeks to get here. and when i opened the box to take them out this is what i found. [img=http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/1944/wrongplugwires4vm.th.jpg] (http://img102.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wrongplugwires4vm.jpg) . the one wire is almost 2 feet long and there were 5 in the box 1 didn't have a boot on it for a sparkplug and was only like 6" so i don't have a clue what that one was for.. anyways my question is if i can trim the 2ft. long wire down to size so there isn't wires laying all over my engine bay? if i can let me know what to use to do it please! i contacted the store that sold em to me and they said they were the right wires even after i sent them pics.. they are supposed to be OBX..

those aren't even DSM wires. The short wire is from going to a distributer to the coil and no DSM has a distributer

It looks like you attempted to buy the wires I did. Mine look nothing like that. I don't have the little wire that goes to nothing, and mine are MUCH shorter....almost too short IMO.
Either you accidentally bought the wrong ones, or whoever you bought them from sent you the wrong ones. I wouldn't attempt to shorten them...
I took a pic of what it should say on the box if they are the right ones. In the lower right corner on the back of the box, it should say this:
http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/3363/eclipseobx4vv.th.jpg (http://img529.imageshack.us/my.php?image=eclipseobx4vv.jpg)
If they won't accept a return, find out what car(s) or truck(s) they are for and try and resell them or something and buy the right ones.

$50 for a non turbo wire, that rip !! for non turbo I do go to autozone and get duralast wire, it come with life time warranty, I come exchange every 4k mile :icon16: . before I sold my rs, I gave the owner and receipt and box, so he can exchange for new one later.

 When I read someone say that no DSM's had distributors I was like "Ooh, ooh, I know something no one else does!" Sure enough, like 4 posts down Ned decided to chirp in. Fucker. ;)
