97 civic dx engine swap...

Hey, i am saving up money(alot of it) for a different engine that i want to put in my 97 dx(non hb). I would like to know what engine you all think is the best for this swap. Also, how would i go about with a lsvtec swap? I have heard alot about them, all except how you would get them.

you can't just buy LSVTEC. you either get it from someone who builts them or built it yourself. as for the engine, and B-series would be fine (except i don't like the B16 in 6th generation civics).

I realize you cant just pick one up off of the street, but how are they set up. is the ls the bottom and v-tec the top, or vice versa?? thanks for the opinion by the way.

yup. basically the LS bottom end and VTEC cams with other little stuff...

does any pne know about how much that costs
