02 Eclipse...I think

well i took my car out to waste a 1/4 of my gas and listen to a new cd i burned. 15 minutes into driving around i run into this mitsubishi eclipse, driving kinda fast, but not too much faster than i was, so i decided to line up and see what he has. i kinda heard some exhaust over my music, so maybe he had exhaust, intake...not really sure, wasn't really trying to hear. well he jumps first, then i catch a little jump afterwards, and after that, we light it up, cuz traffic was too perfect to pass up, hardly any cars on the freeway. he gets ahead by a car, i started to catch him, then after that he started pulling away. by the time we shut down he was about 4 cars ahead of me. it was a little fun but it was just a too short to be that enjoyable. i couldn't tell i was going 120 till i looked at the gauge. i'm kicking myself in the ass cuz i brought my dig with me and i could've recorded the race. oh well.:disappoin

it's auto, there's way too much traffic in houston to convince me to swap to manual at this moment. i met a guy yesterday that said he's sick of manual because of the traffic in this city. i plan on getting a shift kit sometime next year, there's some problems with my car i need to address before this year ends, i plan to start upgrading around the end of the year, since this car's been a little battered before i bought it. what did your neighbor have done to his neon?

dude, you missed a car show over at woodforest today, i just came back from it just now. There's gonna be another one tomorrow at nine, if you want to know how to get there, pm me and i'll give you the directions. I'll upload some pics and a couple of videos in a little bit, just gotta find my usb connection.

btw he was 5sp manual. 3rd gear liked to pop out and not engauge sometimes. custom intake,pacesetter headers & cat back, ignition wires or w/e, no2, throttle body bored and tb spacer. thats all i can think of. fully loaded, nothing took out. all the seats n all. he did turn off the engine fan though and put a huge bag of ice on it between runs. it ran 15.3 w/o silly gas though. i believe he did some fuel tuning too as well. i could as him as he is selling the car to his neighbor for 1k, he is now a graduated aerospace major so he's rich now. the 1k i guess bought him his tranny to be tightened on his stang or w/e. since that run he got more stuff done to it so im not sure what he ran then.
