1/4 mile times

Do yall know what yall run? im interested in what i run but im dead broke (i would buy a gtech) and i cant goto the track i have a stock si let me know what yall run and what you have

anyone with a stock si or even sligtly modded.............times?

my engine is basically stock, except i took off the rubber joint that joins the resonator box with the filter box with the intake piping. makes it sound pretty mean. i ran a 17.4 with a full sound system in, nothing taken out.

yeah when i first got the car i was lookin at it like wtf does this do? i was like nuthing it just restricts air and i took it off, yeah it sounds tight in 4th at low rpms then hittin the gas it sounds like intake.

Im gonna go to the track any day now, i got a completely stock 90 si. I will let u know

I ran a 16.5 at 81mph with just a short ram air intake, wires, and a axle back exhaust. I also had a dead front engine mount (the one on the tranny which made launching the car a pain) This was with around 140-150k on the stock Si motor. I'm told mid 16's for a stock Si is good. I was lightly modded at the time so i don't see my time as bad at all.

I ran a 15.0 with a basically totally stock B16A in 91 DX.. All I really have is a custom bent exhaust. Timing is stock and everything.. The car was in more of a street trim then I plan on running it, thats full interior with my stereo 3/4 tank of gas and my 16" rims..

I'm going back to the track soon so I can get into the 14s without buying anything more for my car.. I'll post up when I get it.. I need to adress a major traction issue. :)

15.7 the only time I ran the SiR a long while back. That's stock SiR trim though with power steering and aircon belts sucking power, not to mention 1030 kilos of car. Apparently it's supposed to do 15.3, but I wonder which varient Honda used to get that figure. It highlights the idea that I am down on power somewhere - prolly a choked cat convertor.

Oh, and I suck at 1/4 mile too :p

Well with my d16a6 my best run was 15.9 then 16.2 , 16.1, 16.4. I haven't run with my current set up yet cause the suspension needs work(bushings) and i need a new clutch.

I have a 91 si with a short ram intake, and a big f'n hole in my muffler and I ran a 16.5 I wanted to see what i could do before I did all of the mods.

what kind of cars have yall raced and beat, the only person i raced so far was a 98 crapalier with a muffler and filter and i spanked him by like 4 car lengths

I ran a 15.0 a long time, back when I had a completly stock car with just a ZC engine.. full interior and all.. ofcoarse, my ZC seemed to be faster then most others.. right jason? :)

i ran a 15.3 with intake/header/exhaust/cam gear with my stock SI motor, and street tires..

yeah i wonder why i post such a high time, but hey oh well. this was when i had a coffee can muffler w/2.5" exhaust and some cheapo tires on it.

my car spun the first half down...since then ive yet to go back w/my hks intake and other mystery brand muffler and actually nice sumitomo200hr 205 13's.
I want to put a vinyl on my back window to mock the dub+whatever guys and put "got 13's?"

the sad thing is that my car has beaten a v6 camaro and yes it was tryin! at other times at the strip only way i won was when the other guys broke down!
ive yet to go back b/c of a guy that hit the wall and died and i was next in line!
ill go back though when i make a serious upgrade

my 88dx's faster time was a 16.5..which isnt bad but not fast enough..now usually i get around 16.7-17's depending on if she feels like running fast. But then again she would prob run faster if the driver didnt weigh 250lbs..lol

Sadly where i live in the Uk there r no tracks to try my car out on hehe.... its not gonig to be that fast anyway as its only a 1.4 ...

but i have done a bit of street racing :)

beat a mini cooper old model .... beat a 1.4 SR nova no probs ... beat a XR2 no probs :) .... XR2i's a push but can keep up just fine :) ummm some of the new 1.6 16v escorts i can keep up with ok :) .... MK1 Golf GTI beat just cos his car was shagged ... VW Sirocco this thing had to really push to beat me :)... got my ass whooped by a R5 Turbo but was catching on top speed :).... 205 1.6gti can keep up with ok ..

darn the list could go on forever hehe....

i guess my little 1.4 is quite good actually hehe ... but i still gotta save up for a CRX vtec :) then no one will beat me hahaha weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Wow guys, those are some awesome times!!! I hope i can get in the lower 16's, i am just waiting for a cool day to go since racing in 100 degree weather makes my car super slow. I raced a 95 integra LS and i was like a quarter car ahead until i switched into 2nd, lol. Nice times guys!!

way hay race day at Santa Pod :) all weeked so i can actually get to test the 1/4 mile time of my car .... its also a race too :) this should be fun ... it might be over 100 miles away from me but hay what the hell should be fun :)

have not run my car yet but I have raced friends cars who runs mid to high 14s with their B16as and I am next to them. After 80 or so they pull a bumper on me but I have a ZC... I would guess Im somewhere around a 14.7 or 14.8

my friend ran his 88' crx si with an intake, cut springs, stage 2 clutch, and no muffler(at all), he ran a 15.8.

whats up with the no exaust these days? theres a 93 coupe runnin around here with a header and thats it, or he had a str8 pipe comin right off that and then nuthin, its so freakin loud and annoying, i cant stand being next to him on the road
