That'd be the shiat if you could add working bags. Maybe try some small electromagnets that have limiting straps and a small current to get it to raise?! That would be tits!

Just wondering if you came across the same problem with your LS1 as I did, when I opened up the packaging to get the LS1 out, it had the block, tranny and driveshaft all connected as one piece. I had to cut the block and tranny away from the driveshaft, did you have to do this aswell?

Looks nice so far, looking foward to seeing more updates.

Take a look at my LS1 project.

Are you going to hinge the hood that way and are you going to clean up the chopping on the wheel wells etc* ?

Are you going to scratchbuild a compressor and put airbags (not working, just styrene) on the suspension too?

the hood will problly be stationary, but the wheel wells will be taken care of, as for as the compresser it will be orderd from www.scalelows.com (http://www.scalelows.com) the bags will be made from stirene and O-rings the frame will be notched to accomidate the LARGE wheels

For where you cut the box/wheel wells out, you should mad a custom frame addition with some sort of cool design there, or tub it and cover the axel and everything with some styrene sheet. What did you plan on doing?

baggedon 22's

the bed will be smoothed with styrene sheet and the frame will be custom from the cab back, with a huge notch to acomidate the huge wheels

So by being "smoothed with styrene"; do you mean you're going to cut out the whole bed, and just put a flat sheet across, or are you going to actually make the bed around the axel etc*?

Ah, now I see what you mean with the styrene. Looks good.

And the bags, how did you make them? Curled pieces of styrene tubing or?

Ok, no bullshit here. My wife got a call this mornin at about 5:45 from the hospital ( my lil girl was 6 weeks eirly so she had to stay, no big deal) Now on to the big deal. They told us that my 1 1/2 week old lil girl has got an infection in her stomuck. She will be in the hospital for a minimum of 3-4 weeks, and on top of the there is a strong posibility she will have to have surgry to get rid of the infection permanently. Just thought id let yall know it may be slow progress on the truck
