I decided to make a new update thread since my last one got locked and because I done some new mods.

Monday night I went and picked up some wire and heat shrink wrap to make a harness for my injector resistor pack that I bought from a turbo DSM part-out. I then made a wiring harness to tie in the resistor pack into the main engine harness of my car.

Then me and one of my buddies wiried it in and then covered up all the connection with heat shrink and stuffed the wires into some black loom.

I made a pretty big jump, from 275's to 450's. I threw them in with no tuning at all. When we first tried to start the car it didnt want to start. Itr was skipping and everything. I had to keep my foot on the gas for about a minute to get it to idle on its on. I didn't expect it to run good but after driving it a while it actually runs good now. Runs rich but not too bad.

There was alot of wire to cover so we put alot of loom on it. Looks kinda wierd, but im part ricer so I think its cool. My buddy said, "looks like your trying to hide something".

I should be putting on a FPR and FP gauge this weekend hopefully. Then after that, the next thing I will do is a SAFC and fuel pump. So stay tuned to my project.

Here are some pictures.

Heres a before and after of the engine bay:

How do you keep the engine bay so damn clean? I wish mine would stay like that. And it's probably not a good idea to be running those bigger injectors without some sort of a tune, you're WAY overrunning the rest of the motor and you could cause some major damage from bore wash and I'm sure you don't want that to happen.

I'm actually not too worried about causing any damage to the engine because I'm not going to be running it like this for long. I will probably have my FPR and gauge installed by this weekend or Monday. Im also about to get an SAFC-2. I'm only about $60 short. So probably in the next two weeks I will have it installed. BTW: Im not familiar with the term "bore wash". What is it exactly?

Bore wash is when you have too much gas coming into the cylinders and it washes all the oil off the cylinder walls. Therefore your rings will be grinding against the cylinder walls.

Yeah, I'd park the car until you get a tuning device. I didnt realize the 4g64 was SOHC. You should slap a 4g63 head on that bad boy.

EDIT: Hmmmmm, where have I seen that strut tower bar before? ;)

Na, I'm gonna drive it. lol. Yeah it's SOHC. I don't want to do a head swap, I might just throw a billeted cam in that bad boy and a cam gear.

Lol, you noticed my strut bar! I got a deal on all my parts. Dude straight hooked me up. Thats where I got that resistor pack from too, and all the parts in my Part 1 thread.
