NE ways i want to replace the headers on it, i went to http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/price/Plymouth/Eclipse-Talon_89-94/Hedman/Exhaust/Headers, the hedman headers are more than the Pacesetters...naturaly but i was wondering if anyone on here has came across these Hedman headers ik alot of ppl that have contemplated on gettin pace's headers but idk wuts the better deal? Is this Laser a turbo or N/A?

You made absolutely no sense in saying this.

I don't know much about Hedman headers, so hopefully somebody with a 1g N/A can weigh in. IMO, that is an expensive ass header for a brand I've never heard of. I bet you could do better.

You said the guy you bought the car from told you the only problem was that 2nd gear grinded. Then you said he was full of shit, implying there were other problems he didn't clue you in on. Then you said "i bought a near perfect car for $200 who cares". You are contradicting yourself, because why would he be full of shit if the car is "near perfect"?

HeadER, we only have one, and why do you want to replace it? Is there something wrong with it? There is NO need for you to replace it because it will do nothing for performance if you are running a stock car, so in turn it would be a waste of money and more of a ricer add-on than anything else. I have also never heard of the company so I probably wouldn't buy anything from them, and I've heard a ton of stories about people's Pacesetter headers cracking after only a few months.

Headers are junk IMO, unless you're running a V8 motor. The stock exhaust mani can be ported to flow more than enough needed to hold 500hp easy.

My bad I didn't even notice I did that.

I dont realy want to buy ne thing pacesetters just for the fact that there junk. Thanks for the quick response though, i realy appriciate it.

After looking over the headers, there are slight cracks that kinda worry me. My best bet your sayin is to just go out and buy a pair of OEMs.

headman is actually a great brand big in the v8 world. Pacesetter got a bad name because of their turbo manifolds not being able to hold the weight of the turbo and cracking, for a n/a they are a good product my buddy is running a set of pacestter longtubes on his 500hp camaro

I have a buddy running a Pacesetter on a Tiburon and it's cracked all the way across the mounting flange. I think they're nothing but junk.

different strokes for different folks.
I guess it depends on what "batch" you get them from

So is the car turbo or not? I dont know if anyone else knows either.

If its a turbo car, I'd get a cast manifold unless you are running a big ass turbo. I read that tubular exhaust manifolds on turbo cars arent good until you are flowing a shit ton of air because the air cools off, so its volume goes down and your turbo wont spool as quick. If its N/A (naturally aspirated), dont waste your time/money on an aftermarket header, the car wont be fast anyway.

If you want another cast exhaust manifold for a turbo car, I have an extra. Its a 2nd gen manifold so its less prone to cracking and flows better than a 1g manifold. PM me if you are interested.

Ahhh, I thought he was asking what N/A meant, thats why I put naturally aspirated in parenthesis.
