Back. My H-body cars' rear speakers come out through the trunk. They are in boxes that are held in by thumb screws. I assume that yours would be similar.
If not, then I would assume that they come out of the top of the rear dash by removing any trim around them and then probably any torx screws holding them in place.

well in my 88 there seems to be this black box in the trunk under that deck, thats where the speakers are, ive never actually taking it out or opened it before, so i cant help much, but the front speakers have plastics lids with two torx screws on each one, once those are off then its as simple as a couple bolts for the speakers and presto, out they are.

The boxes in the back have two bolts sticking out of the rear dash where two nuts (not screws, my bad) are screwed on to hold the box in place. Also, the box sits on a ledge to support the rear of the box (the nuts are closest to the trunk lid, the ledge is closest to the rear seat).
Undo the nuts, lift off the ledge, unlcip electrical harnesses.
