zerks?

Does anyone know the number of grease fittings on my 1995 GC 5.2L V-8? I'm having a disagreement with my oil change guy. Thanks

7 (2 upper balljoints - lower would be damn near impossible to greese unless they have 90 degree fittings in that case there would be 9 total, trackbar, 2 tie rod ends, draglink, tie rod)

Thank you.....I have the distinct feeling those lower ball joint fittings have probably never been touched!

there are none on the lower ball joints.

there is also one on the front driveshaft slip joint

oooo yea forgot about that one..


Well my lower balljoints have the grease fittings but cannot be greased without removing the axleshaft.

Thanks for your responses, Joe and dksob81. Interestly, I talked to 3 different dealer service departments and got 3 different answers. One dealer said he'd have to look at my specific car to answer the question. I guess that means either he has no idea, or, not all '95 Grand Cherokee 5.2L's are the same.
