Small rust spots...HELP

i have a couple small spots of rust on my car and im wondering how i go about removing them and protecting those spots from re rusting again, and what i should use to remove the rust and protect it afterwards.

Work done at a body shop, unless you have the skill and proper equipmemt a permanent repair is unlikely.

well ive done alot of autobody work and a small rust spot like the ones on my car cant be that hard to take off. what would be the best thing to use to remove them then protect it.

The best thing would be to remove all traces of the rust by either sanding or cutting out the effected areas. Once you have them cut out spray them with a rust inhibiter that is available commercially. Actually rustoleum paint works well. Then rough it up and use filler. Sand, clean and repaint.
