Auto Headlights

My truck has the auto headlights, but lately I have noticed that during the day my low-high beams are staying on while my day time lights should be on. Is there a sensor that I can clean to help the truck respond? I have done the program button and still find that the daylights are not coming on, and they are both good. Any ideas out there?

All I know is the sensor is located on the dash near the defrost vents. Its a small glossy black round thing.

Yea, between the defrost vents there should be a little black bubble which is the sensor it may be bad or like mine, it may have fallen into the dash. It's pretty dark in there and it thought it was outside too. Fortunately, mine was under warranty and they just took the dash off and put it back. They said mine wasn't installed correctly. Go figure.

The Light sensor is a bit of a weasel to remove and pop in but, if you have long arms with not to big a set of digits. You can reach up there and pop it back in. It just pops out and pushes in with a turn. I know cause i took mine out then put it back in place once I figured out how to bypass it.
Just remove the dash trim ring. Remove the Stereo and it's straight back from the stereo near the firewall...
