Low side is to high and high is to low.
Expansion tube or weak compresser.
What are the low and high readings at 2500 rpm.
If not much better pull the orfice tube and check for a lot of trash if a lot of trash usually it is compresser trash.
If clean replace it and evccate system and check oil and recharge to proper amount of charge and see what it does.
If a reto fit to r-134 hold the r-134 charge down 10-15 percent.
Let us know how it goes.

I think you should add some more in then take pressure reading again if that does not help then it might just be the compressor weak discharge pressure will not compress the refrigerant required to create subcooling on the high side(needs to turn back to liquid before entering your expansion tube)

:grinyes:Smartass post of the week. Take the two buttons on the dash off of red and go to blue:grinyes::grinyes:. Sorry couldn't resist, but yea, I agree with the MT. Sounds like the compressor is weak. And boy, are they cheap:eek:.

On the old fridge compresser you mat be able to do it but to save the hassel and time to make one here is a link to some good ones that will do the job done right and the cost is not that bad.
But if you live in canada better check your local laws on recharging first.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
