I have a 92 lesabre and the right dash speaker does not work. I want to replace it but it doesn't seem easy to get to. How can I get to the speaker?

I believe the 92's are similar in removal for the 90... if that is the case then you will probably have to remove the whole dash cover to get at them. I believe it is about a dozen T-15 torx screws, with a couple screws hidden behind a plastic vent piece on each side.

If you do end up removing the entire dash, then you might as well replace both speakers at once since the other is probably on its last legs if both speakers were installed at the same time.

Actually the 92' is different than the 90', the black plastic dash panel near the windshield comes off with 2 torx screws, one on each side. The screws are hidden by two small covers (about an inch wide, 2 1/2-3inches long) Just remove these covers to gain access to the scews. The panel will pull right out and the speakers can be removed.

Thanks, I found the panel and the torx screws underneath came out easily.

Now I can get back to my classic 4-speaker sound system; 3 speakers really doesn't cut it in the age of 6/8+ speakers.
