After the 6bolt swap I have been having some Idling issues....

sometimes my car idles were it should (600-700)
sometimes it idles as low as 100-600 and comes close to dying or does die (not that often it dies)
and sometimes it idles all the way up to 1300

**I HAVE NO BOOST LEAKS**
without adjusting the set screw what else can I look into?

I know with DSM link you are able to adjust the idle, but can it control to large difference in RPMs?
It is very annoying and I would like to fix it, and dont know where else to look.

PS
JUST WON AN EPROM ECU ON EBAY (buy it now) for 250.00 shipped..cant wait to get linked

I'm too lazy to go over to PD, so I'll reply here. You might as well wait to get DSMlink installed. Log ISCposition and LearnedIdleAdj, and IdleSW. Those values will provide some insight to what is going on. Besides leaks, the only other real potential causes are ISC motor, FIAV, IdleSW (which means TPS adjustment on 2g), and BISS setting.

Edit> I recently did a mean writeup of how to set the BISS properly using DSMlink, I'll try to copy it over to my site.
