Driver Information Center

Hey all, just bought an '03 CX 2WD with 30K miles. It doesn't have the driver information center in the dash, but i'd love to have it. Is this something that can be added or retrofitted without too much difficulty? I saw one for sale on ebay but not sure if it will plug in and read my mileage from the onboard computer....
Anyone know what type of accessories can be added from the upscale models to the more base models (like maybe the auto tint rear view mirror? I've got Traction control and ABS, but seems everything else is base model.
