2000 GT. Is there a torque spec on the 4 bolts that hold the rear hub on? Also, is there a spec on the lug nuts as well? I picked up a rear hub that is SKF (formerly CR?) brand made in USA that has a lifetime warranty. Cost was $126. Did I do OK?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Unless specified otherwise in the instruction/data sheet, the GM service manual specifies 52 ft-lbs for rear hub and bearing assembly bolts.
100 ft-lbs for wheel (lug) nuts.
I really don't know about the brand hubs you have. I use either AC Delco or BCA - Federal Mogul.

Thanks for the specs. I don't have a manual yet, but it looked like a straight forward job. Well, almost. I got the four bolts out that hold the hub on, but it is really stuck on there. I've pounded on it pretty hard and it won't budge. Are there any tricks to this? Does the e-brake backing plate come off with the hub? I can see that there is a cast piece for the e-brake that looks to be covering the lower two bolt holes (the bottom two hub bolts go through it) but it doesn't really look like there is anything holding in place.
