2000 Fuel Filter?

Has anyone done the filter on one of these? Do you have to drop the tank? I looked quick last night, but not sure. I also picked up a new one @ Advance Auto Parts, but it looks nothing like the one that is in there, but that is nothing new. I have an early 2000 build, has a lot of 99 parts.
