Subject: Clearing up clouded headlight lens
Anybody got any ideas for the best, easiest ways to clear up headlight lens (presumably polycarbonate) that has become sand blasted, dulled, and perhaps some crazing.
I've considered semi-chrome or other plastic, polycarbonate polish. Any particualr type, brand that is recommended.
Any tips on best way. Is it practical to do by hand or is a mechanical buffer the only way to get it done in a reasonable time and amount of effort.
Any caveats?
TIA,
Steve

this link might offer some insight into the issue. i've seen some products specifically for the problem at the auto store but have not tried them.
