if i modify my exhaust, ie. headers, cat back, what will happen to my
rpms? will i be able to rev higher before having to shift?

your car will rev a little faster, simply because it is faster. other than that, your redline will stay exactly the same. rev your car to redline then shift like you always did, the only difference is that now you get to do it sooner because your car is faster. just dont expect too much out of it and you will be fine.

Thats pretty much it. You ain't gonna gain anymore then about 10whp at the most your redline stays the same in all honesty it's hardly noticable some guys may argue that, but I've had 2 integra's and am now on my 3rd and have had the same setup pretty much with a dc 4-2-1 header ,apexi N1 exhaust and have a free flow carsound cat on my current integra and a aem cai and found that I had gained but it wasn't that noticable but don't get me wrong it does help for more power and I will do the same mods to every car I buy cause exhaust mods are always a good first step.
