Well I've run into an ordeal, I have the money for dsm link but I only have the stock injectors andthe injectors that I'm using are borrowed to me and he wants them back or I have to buy them and he wants a rediculous amount($100) So should I see if he will let me keep the injectors a while longer and get link now, buy injectors and run like shit untill I can get link, or wait and get it all at once hoping I can keep the injectors for a while

I would not run any larger injector on the stock ECU, ever. It simply is not a good idea. You can actually ruin your motor very easily (bore wash, oil contamination, etc). The going rate for stock injectors is 40-50 bucks, tell this guy to stop being a touch hole. And if you are planning to run DSMlink, I'm hoping you're looking into 950s? :)

I was thinking an even 1000cc just to be safe and for the future with a stroker and a gt35r+. I have a feeling I'll just get some cheapo stockers from egay and throw these in the guys face and suggest where to store them

Get link. You can always run link on the stock injectors but like Kevin said, you shouldn't run anything more than stock injectors on the stock ECU. Find some cheapo injectors in you really need some and get link. How big of injectors are you looking for right now just to put you over until you need bigger ones? I have some 550's you can *borrow* until you get some bigger ones if you really need them bad.

well now the options are A. get link give the 450s back since my car will just be sitting there for a few days and "borrow" gthompsons 550s or B. Buy some stockers for $40 wait a month or so and then get link and then save for big injectors. So lets just vote a or b only thing is it has to be running in 1 month exactly

Well if you can get some for $40 then I would just do that. Then you won't have to worry about sending mine back and forth and what not. But if you wish to do A, I will let you borrow them.

since we are on the topic when I get link what injectors should I get. I'm thinking 1000cc but should I go bigger being that I dont know exactly what my plan is?

Ok so I guess I don't have the 550 injectors anymore, or at least I couldn't find them tonight. I'll have to look again tomorrow when its not so damn dark out and maybe I still have them but I'm thinking I sold them when I got rid of one of my engines but I'll still look again tomorrow.

The problem with going bigger than 1000s, is that the next real option is 1600. Quite a jump. DSMlink has enough range to control them, but the jury is still out on idle quality as far as I know. 1000s properly setup will support nearly 80 lbs/min, which covers everything up through the "67" turbos (T67, PT67, TO4R, 3075, 3575, etc). I would think this covers 99.999% of DSMers.
