Fuse panel question

My neighbor has a '96 Grand Cherokee that spends a lot of time idle in the garage. A new battery was installed but drained down within a couple of days. Battery recharged, but drained down again. The vehicle was purchased used and did not come with an owners manual.
While checking circuits far battery drain, we found a 50 amp fuse in the engine compartment marked MUX/T TOW which had a constnt draw. Removing the fuse caused loss of power to most of the interior systems, instruments, windows, etc. My guess is that this fuse is the main feed for the interior fuse panel. Can anyone confirm this? What other circuits does this feed? Thanks in advance.
