Color light bulbs??

2 questions:

1. I have a Civic Si..and the color light on my guage(or is it called odometer?) is red..i would like to change it to neon blue. Is thier a light bulb i can buy to replace it w/ a colored ligh bulb?

2. What stores sell paint sprays that are made to color light bulbs? Instead of buying a colored light bulb i was wondering if anywhere you could buy such a paint spray?

I used a magic marker on some clear one (back before they came pre-colored)

Hiya mate i can asswer this one as i tried it too.

Your norm dash has bulbs and when you install Led's they have to be viewd in their own viewing angle

your dash used Diffused light. ( one bulb per house) so a led wont work i tried that my sefl. I have the brightist l.e.d.s. in the united kindom and they are £5 each i bought five 5mm and ripped everything out and completed it .Then when it came to seeing / vieing the guage i saw shit nothing at all when i moved the l.E.D. about i could barley make it out.

If you want to do somthing like that then i think you will have to change all the dash and maybe have to install a neon tube behind the Guage etc.

Or if that does not work maybe make new guages transparent and back lite them and remove then front two bulbs at the front of the guage. as they will kill the effect,Keep me posted if you can do it let me know if i get to know before you i will let you know.I think the best thing you could do is go for the Indeglo Guages maybe a little expensive but well worth the monkeys ( Money)
