Lock doors - Windows go down!

Folks, I have a 2000 Passat. When the doors are locked with the remote, very often the windows will all open. This seems to happen more in warm weather than cold. At the same time this started, I've noticed that , while driving, the door locks will lock/unlock over and over (this seems to occur when starting from a full stop or while cornering). Occasionally, when the door locks cycle, both turn signal indicators will blink.
I've seen several posts talking about a comfort module and wiring harness corrosion problem. I'm going to look for this problem today.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated!

You should be glad that it happens only in warm weather. Could be that the connector is loose or corrosion.

Just checked the CCM and cable harness yesterday. Everything was clean and dry, no corrosion, no dampness. I reseated the connectors to the CCM, but the problems still occur.
Do I need to replace the CCM? My experience with electronics is that they seldom fail. I really think this is more a connection or ground/power problem.

OK, I have not seen the window thing you are talking about. But I have seen were the doors will lock/unlock themselves.
Is it one or all the doors locking/unlocking when driving?
Is the alarm beeping when you lock the car?
Is all the door lock rods going down when the car is locked?

Thanks for your reply.
Yep, all door locks cycle simultaneously when this happens.
When locking the car with the remote, if the alarm beeps, the windows stay up. When the alarm doesn't beep, then the windows all go completely down.
Yes, when you lock the car, all locks go down. The doors stay locked even when the windows open.
Since I reseated the connectors on the CCM, the problem (windows opening) seems to occur less often, but it still happens. We have not seen the problem where the doors lock/unlock while driving since this reseat.
