Completed Celica SS-II with custom bodykit

Those of you with long memories will remember that I started this one way back in April 04 !- the stock styling left me a bit cold so I decided to try and scratchbuild a bodykit for it. It was made up from spare kit bits,plastic sheet & Tamiya quick type epoxy putty.
Everything was going well until I decided to spray it pearl white which was not such a good idea as the kit was moulded in red plastic ! - the red bled through the white turning it pink in places. So it went for a soak in brake fluid.

After that I sort of lost interest and started other kits but I've finally found the enthusiasm to get on & finish it. It's all stock Tamiya except the bodykit, rims are from the Aoshima Mazdaspeed RX7 with Pegasus sleeves and the paint is Vauxhall Caribic Blue metallic.

Beautiful! I think you choose the perfect paint for it! Very nice subtle bodykit, I almost forgot about the build, I'm so glad you finished it! put a for sale sign in the window and I'd pm you ;-)
