Wheel Lug Nut

Well, I found a jack and went to take the front passenger tire off and found that one of the lug nuts does not fit the socket. It appears to be a safety lug nut, however, I have no idea how to take it off. Does anyone have an idea of what type of lug nut it is, and how it is removed?
Thanks,
Greg

Probably one of the factory locking lugs that requires a specially designed socket. You can either A) do what most people do and hammer a socket on the lug (which I dont recommend) and get it off that way. Or B) got to a dealership and order the socket. Do the weird looking lug nuts look like the bottom row of lugs in this picture?

If so, then those are the kind designed for the socket pictured on the right.

You should have gotten the "key" socket with the car.

No, the lug does not look like any in the picture, however, I have resolved it to myself that I will need to go to the dealership and either order the socket or have them take them off. Oh, how I hate to the to a dealer. Anyway, thanks for your help.
By the way, to the person who posted the message that I should have gotten the key when I purchased the car. I now realize that. Lesson learned and water under the bridge. I am simply trying to find a solution to a problem.
