Fiberglass bodykit.......rear bumper

I bought a kit from VIS racing sports and the fitment is excellent, but there is a part of the rear bumper that is sticking out a little....how do i make it flush with the rest of the car??? also the side skirts scrape on the doors alot....any help would be great! thanks!
