Well first off I'd like to welcome you to the forums and the search button is your friend.
As for the problem that you're having, has it had a tune-up recently? Also you're approaching the time when the timing belt needs to be changed (60,000 miles). I think what's causing the problem is a boost leak. www.vfaq.com has a intake pressure testor (boost leak testor) under the intake section. Try that out.

Try not to start all of your words off with capital letters, it's hard to read that way. Anways, try checking for a boost leak, I think this is the culprit. And I would do a tune-up anyways and you'll be looking at a timing belt change in a few thousand miles.

That's why we're here, to help each other. Good thing you're a Chevy man though, otherwise I'd have to rag on you. :)

check for a boost leak as for cheap mods get an open air filter, dump tube hack.
change your plugs, wires, fuel filter.
