But the Revell ITR kit is a 1/25 scale, so how's it gonna fit your Fujimi project?

you dont get a hole kit, its suppost to be a lost parts deal, you paint only for shipping ans they replace a parts, say you lost a windshield they will send it to you, all you pay is shipping, you can orde rup to 11 times I think.

Some people cheat the system and order cool looking wheels or engine, however, you gotta remenber that in revell kits each wheels has a #, so a set of wheels is 4 parts, plus 4 tires, you already have 8 things. I also think you can only order those 11 parts. since it is a replacement part service, and they KNOW you will not have that many missing parts is so many kits.

this is sad to hear guys! this is like, cheating a benevolent company (seriously, Revell-Monogram is quite benevolent, I've ordered dozens of lost parts before at no extra cost...) but this is taking it a bit too far I think...

order what you need, but don't go on trying to order an entire kit... Revell-Monogram kits ain't that expensive anyhow...

It would be cool if Tamiya did this! Really though, a Revell ITR costs what... $8.00-$10.00 at WalMart or hobby stores? By the time you pay $5-6 for shipping and bother to order the crap its not worth it. Why bother? :monkeypis :thinkerg:

I agree. what if Revell or any company for that matter stop offering parts because of people like you ripping them off for shit that you can buy cheap. and what if some other person really lost or got damaged parts what about him he cant get nothing because you and everyone else who has done this caused the model companies to stop offering a service. this only for service not a "i want parts because thyre cool and im to cheap to buy service".

i dont think i want to be part of this board if people do shit like this

you people say these kits are cheap?

hello mr.highnmighty

the cheapest i can get a R-M kit for is 20 bucks canadian, the god damn revell ITR costed me over 30 bucks...and by paying "shipping" we are paying for the part............and you think r-m cannot afford a few cheap spare part's? a multi-billion dollar company?............if they didnt want people to order parts even if they already had them, they would NOT offer the service!.......but i dont care what you do, because you will have no impact on my life or what i do within my life........nor will i........

for one thats your problem their money sucks in my opinion and american money is extremely corrupted. and another thing dont buy kits from a damm hobby shop(youll just get ripped off)

try ModelCarKits.com his prices are the cheapest here in the US
he only carries domestic kits revell amt and such he also has sales where kits are almost near nothing cheapest kit ever sold by HH was 3.50
and im guessing you dont have a job because you cant seem to affora a 20 canadian for a revell kit

i vote on a new form of currency for the entire world Glass,Beads and Dirt all of this is extremly abundant and we all can live like billionaires.

I have no conscience.....aaahhhh......shoot me :p
Actually the parts I have orderee from R-M were genuine, the one time the kit DID come missing the oil-pump belt, the next time the kit did have badly molded wheels, the third time the body was warped to hell, I even phoned the factory and sent the body back for them to see how BAD it was.....so is that ripping them off?
After those 3 incidents I have never bought another R-M kit.....I refuse to pay for scrap plastic.....

Another Canadian loser:rolleyes: Revell offers this as a service to promote good customer relations and help modelers. Your exploiting this might come back to bite you!
And yes, they are cheap! You should shop better or drop the hobby if you have to "steal" parts.
And stay out of Florida, we hate cheap Canadians!!

thanking my maker I am neither American nor Canadian :P

I think you are all taking this WAY too seriously, in the long haul, we are all as bad or as good, does it make any difference what country we live in?
You bitch at a Canadian for using the system set up to his advantage, but the guys that killed Enron and Worldcom were American, what do you have to say about them?

Wrong, I bitch about him exploiting a system that is set up for all of our advantage and one that I have legitimately used in the past and I don't want that service to disappear in the future because of abuse. That "50-cent worth of plastic" costs the company much, much more when you consider they have to set-up an entire department for it, discard the rest of the model the parts come from (models are molded complete), pay for the 800 number, track shipping, etc, etc... That 50-cent part ends up costing closer to $10.00 when you factor the other expeses involved.

As for the Worldcom, Enron, Adelphia situation, trust me when I say there are some serious scumbags in this country just like every other country. The system that allowed this to happen was created by Mr. Clinton (a scumbag that Europe loved!) and they will all pay in the end. I had invested in the stock market from 1985 until 1999 when I saw all the signals of a shrinking market (heavy inventories, no Y2K bug meltdown, slowing computer sales, over-priced stocks). I dumped most everything early and made-out quite fine, thank you. Those who got hammered where either not paying attention, made some REALLY stupid buying choices, or trusted someone to do their homework for them. If you researched Enron at it's highest point (4/01) you would have seen a problem; where did they get these reported profits?!
Never trust anyone with your family's future, your property, or your money. Educate and trust yourself in these matters. I've never had a job that paid over $35,000. a year, but I'm wealthier than anyone I graduated with in 1988.
Mentel, I shouldn't have blasted your nationality. I'll eat a maple leaf tonight for my penance.
